Snooker Football is played with at least 2 players, or any other, preferably, even number of players.
One can play 1 to 1 or one team to against the other. One of the players is selected
to shoot the first ball, which is called breaking, since he will ‘break’ the 15 balls apart.
The first ball that is scored will determine the player’s or team’s targets, which could
be half or completely colored balls.
Once the color is determined by the first goal of one of both teams, the team’s target
is to shoot all of those balls into the pockets before the other team does. As long as a
player scores, the team can play along until they either miss a ball or score one of the
opponents balls. After pocketing all balls, the last ball, number 8, needs to be scored. The first
team who completes this, wins. But be careful, pocketing number 8 before all other
balls are scored will cause you to loose the game!
The triangle frame provides an easy set up for the game. Just place the footballs
inside, take away the frame and the first player can start ‘breaking’ the rack. Rules can
easily be customized, such as counting double points when making a great shot.
Adjust the rules to the level of the players, so that it’s fun for everyone – young and old.
